iPhone 6 rear shell appears in leaked photos, video

New images of the back cover of the smartphone have been published by Feld & Volk, a Moscow-based company that produces luxury modified versions of the iPhone, and spotted by MacRumors.

The Moscow company claims to have worked with the same companies that manufacture parts for Apple in the past six years.

According to them, Apple is working on equipping the iPhone 6 with a sapphire display.

The images show details of the device’s rear shell and the huge amount of plug-ins to accommodate all components.

The existence of several bolt holes can be noticed and according to Feld & Volk they are part of the prototyping system of the device and will be removed when mass production begins.

In line with previous leaks, the Apple logo appears to be cut out of the shell.

Feld & Volk notes that the Apple logo doesn’t only meet an aesthetic purpose but it could actually house an NFC antenna.

The next iPhone is also the protagonist of a video showing a case that seemingly corresponds to the 4.7-inch model and displays aspects of the design of the handset.
