Recent reports claimed that Apple suppliers had encountered problems in the manufacturing of a battery that would fit its ultra-thin iPhone 6.

It was reported that the 5.5-inch version of the smartphone could be delayed due to these production issues.

Now a new report from Taiwan’s Economic Daily News [via GforGames] claims that the problem has been solved with the aid of new suppliers.

The two companies that are said to have solved the issues go by the names of Simplo and Desai. The first has reportedly delivered a first batch of a thin and flexible unit, in line with the Apple’s requirements.

The new iPhone is expected to be a lot thinner and lighter than its predecessors.

Earlier this month a Chinese site claimed that both iPhone 6 models will get a larger battery despite their thinner frame.
