This week the company posted its results for the second quarter, revealing an additional 1.5 million subscribers, which means they have added more customers than other wireless providers.
According to T-Mobile’s CEO, John Legere, “We have completely reversed T-Mobile’s trajectory and started a revolution that is changing the rules in wireless.”
He expects new subscribers to come to the carrier when Apple releases the iPhone 6 this fall.
“I think we’ve got a huge opportunity,” Legere said.
“You are not going to get me to use the iPhone 6 word on this conference call,” he joked, before talking about the benefits that the launch f the device, which he called a significant “switching event,” could bring to the operator.
