According to Digitimes, Pegatron is responsible for half of the production of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 that Apple plans to release in the coming months, with the other half being assigned to Foxconn.
This percentage is higher than the 15% estimated in May and in terms of volume corresponds to 25 million units.
According to the sources, the partnership between Apple and Pegatron has become stronger.
Pegatron was chosen because of the production skills the company was able to provide with the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C this year.
The presentation of the iPhone 6 is currently being awaited to take place on September 9.
