The fully assembled logic board of the smartphone has been leaked online by Chinese repair firm GeekBar.
The nano-SIM slot, several connectors for flex cable components and a Toshiba flash storage chip appear distinctly in the picture, MacRumors notes.
However, the most important part, the A8 processor, doesn’t appear as it is surrounded by electromagnetic protection.
MacRumors writes that the silver area below the motherboard is the WiFi module, although there is no information to confirm that.
It isn’t known whether this main board belongs to the 4.7 or 5.5-inch iPhone 6 model.
Close-ups of the device’s front panel, power button and SIM card tray were also leaked this week.
