iPhone 6 leaked photos show Lightning cable with reversible USB connector

Chinese site dianxinshouji.com.cn [via Nowhereelse.fr] claims that a Lightning cable with a reversible connector on both ends could accompany the next iPhone when it launches in September.

Unlike the current version of the USB connector, where the connector is at the bottom, in the new version it is located in the center.

The connector can thus be inserted into the port on the first try as both surfaces are symmetrical.

As evidence of this new feature, Nowhereelse.fr notes that there is an Apple patent on a reversible USB connector from last month.

The photos of the new cables are reportedly from Foxconn.
