Alleged iPhone 6 photos surface online ahead of September release but prove not to be the next iPhone

The site published exclusive pics of what they claim to be the iPhone 6, adding that Apple’s next iPhone “was smuggled out of a Foxconn factory in China.”

But actually the handset in the pictures is nothing more than an Android clone based on drawings of the device that were published online.

In some images they make various comparisons with the iPhone 5S to highlight differences between the two Apple products, but the picture isn’t showing the iPhone 6.

Apple’s next-generation iPhone could hit stores on Friday, Sept. 19, if Apple keeps the tradition of launching the smartphone a week after its presentation.
