John Paczkowski of Re/code states that on September 9, Apple will introduce ‘a new wearable’, namely a connected device.
It would be launched alongside the two new versions of the iPhone 6, which, according to the report, should bring more than the models presented last year.
The article doesn’t provide any new information about the features of the iWatch, apart from its supposed use of HealthKit and HomeKit, two new integrated apps included in the iOS 8.
Paczkowski had previously reported in June that the iWatch event could take place in October, but on Wednesday he said that plans seem to have changed recently.
He still believes an October event is likely to take place as Apple could introduce its new iPad line.
