iPhone 6 launch event to be live streamed by Apple

Cupertino has announced that its conference where the iPhone 6, and probably also the iWatch, will be presented will be live streamed on September 9.

Apple has now started a countdown to the keynote on its website on a special event page.

It is noted that live streaming of the event from Apple’s website will require Safari 5.1.10 or later on OS X v10.6.8 or later; Safari on iOS 6.0 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later.

Unlike in previous years, the location where the new iPhone will be officially announced has been changed to the Flint Center.

It is expected that Apple will unveil two iPhone 6 variants, with 4.7 and 5.5 inches displays, the rumored iWatch and possibly the iPad Air 2. The iOS 8 will be presented in the final version as well.
