iPhone 6 leaked photos and video show working 4.7-inch unit ahead of release

Merely three days separate us from the official launch of the anticipated smartphone and new leaks show what could be the 4.7-inch version in its final version.

Weibo user zzray has published a series of photos, spotted by Chinese website cnBeta.com, showing an activated and an alleged fully functional iPhone 6.

The design of the pictured device corresponds to what has been leaked in the last few weeks, such as the tapered edges and the round dual-LED True Tone but also the recessed volume buttons.

The interface of the iOS 8 is also presented in the images, including a new icon for the Passbook app which has an additional red stripe with the logo of what appears to be a credit card, a hint that Apple may be presenting a new mobile payment system on Tuesday.

In addition, the new home screen layout on the much larger 4.7-inch display now includes the possibility of 6 rows of icons.

Besides the pictures, a short video showing the handset being unlocked with Touch ID was uploaded by the user.

Four videos have also been published on Chinese website MiaoPai on Saturday, showing a preview of the performance of different applications.
