Apple is expected to introduce new iPads on in the second half of October, AppleInsider writes, based on claims from a trusted source familiar with the company’s pre-launch logistics.
The Daily Dot went further and announced a date for the special event: it is reportedly scheduled on October 21.
The site writes that on the occasion Apple could announce its next operating system, the OS X Yosemite.
The publication’s insiders claim that Apple intends to unveil the next generation iPad and iPad mini with Retina display before the holiday season.
Last year the company introduced the iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina display at a media event on Oct. 22.
