Fortunately for her, Rimes takes everything with humor and responds to tabloids in a funny way.

The 32-year-singer took to Twitter on Thursday and mocked the tabloid stories about her marriage.

“If you combine OK! Magazine and The National Enquirer’s stories that they’re ‘investigating’ this week you get…Eddie doesn’t want to have kids with me so he’s been cheating on me since April & we’re headed for that 50 million dollar divorce we were gonna go through almost a year ago,” she wrote.

“I’m sure there’s aliens involved in it too, but we only get told bits and pieces,” the singer added.

This isn’t the first time the couple is the target of divorce rumors, but they have denied allegations on each occasion.

Last year, in November, Cibrian shut down rumors that his marriage with Rimes is on the rocks in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

“[The rumors have] been going on for so long. They’re just absurd, and to give any validity to any of these things, it’s crazy,” he said at the time.

“We have such a great marriage, very functional and we just decided to do a show to screw that all up,” he added, referring to their Vh1 reality show Leann & Eddie.

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian announced their engagement on December 2010 and got married on April 22, 2011.
