David Lynch hints at Twin Peaks reboot on Twitter

Twin Peaks creator David Lynch and the show’s co-creator, Mark Frost, recently suggested that there may be another installment of the film.

The two posted the exact same message on Twitter that read, “Dear Twitter Friends: That gum you like is going to come back in style! #damngoodcoffee”

The message refers to well-known replicas from the series and has set fans on fire, with hopes of a return of the series.

Twin Peaks was broadcast from 1990 to 1991 and soon achieved cult status. The movie told the story of the investigation led by FBI agent Dale Cooper and Sheriff Harry Truman to find the killer of Laura Palmer, a young girl who led a double life.

Rumors about a possible sequel to the movie have been around since the last episode aired. At the end of the series, Laura tells Cooper that she will see him again in 25 years.
