Chinese manufacturer Oppo launched on Wednesday its latest phone, the R5, which is currently the thinnest smartphone in the world.
The design of the device is neat, with an aluminum case measuring only 4.85 millimeters.
The smartphone is equipped with a 5.2-inch AMOLED display, a SnapDragon 615 octa-core processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage and a 2,000 mAh battery.
It also packs a 13 megapixel sensor capable of shooting 4K videos and runs on Android KitKat.
However, given its thickness of 4.85 mm, the device is too thin to have a 3.5mm jack and there is also no microSD expansion.
The R5 will be available in silver, gold and gray in December of this year for a price of $499 without contract.
