iPad Pro could take the place of iPad Mini

According to a report by the Economic Daily News [via GforGames], Apple is preparing to stop marketing the iPad Mini next year in order to focus on the future iPad Pro.

The next iPad model is expected to arrive in 2015 with a screen measuring 12.2 or 12.9 inches, according to the latest rumors.

Apple’s decision to drop the mini tablet could be triggered by the launch of the iPhone 6 Plus with its 5.5-inch screen, coupled with the drop in sales of the full range of iPads.

The company’s recently released iPad Mini 3 had no major upgrade compared to its predecessor, except the Touch ID.

If Apple breaks the cycle of renewal of its smaller tablet next year, the iPad Mini 3 could be the last of its series.
