Stevie Wonder denies rumors he and fiancée are expecting triplets

Stevie Wonder and girlfriend Robyn Tomeeka Bracy have recently been the target of rumors about the imminent arrival of triplets.

During an appearance on The View on Wednesday, the crooner denied rumors about having triplets, and stressed that his fiancée is pregnant with one child.

“Whoopi, it’s so hard for me these days. That’s why I’m going on the road. I’ve got how many—22 kids?” the singer joked. “But actually it’s not true.”

“The truth is we’re going to have a wonderful daughter, (to be) born in December, name is going to be Nia, which is ‘purpose,'” he continued.

“Rumors spread, and like I said in the song ‘Superstition’: When you believe in things you don’t understand, you suffer. So, you know, that’s a bunch of a bull.”

The soul singer is already the proud father of eight children he had with five different women. Robyn Tomeeka Bracy gave birth to his eighth child in 2013.
