At 53, Susan Boyle is perhaps done with solitary life as she recently revealed she met a man during her tour in the United States.
“I don’t want to say any more about who he is right now as that would be unfair on him,” Boyle said in an interview with The Sun (via Daily Mail). “All I’ll say is we are around the same age and he was a very nice guy.”
While staying at the same luxurious resort, the two shared a romantic dinner, during which he was “the perfect gentleman”.
“It’s early days but we enjoy each other’s company,” Boyle told the publication. “We just got talking in the hotel and I thought he seemed friendly enough. He wasn’t a fan but he knew who I was. He invited me out for lunch the next day, we had a nice chat and spoke about lots of things including our careers,” she continued.
“He was the perfect gentleman and even paid the bill. Afterwards we exchanged details. When we said goodbye he gave me a peck on the cheek,” she added.
The singer also said that the doctor will soon visit her in Scotland, although she tries not to get too carried away.
“It’s very early days so we’ll see what happens. I hope he comes over,” Boyle said. “I don’t want to say any more about who he is right now as that would be unfair on him. All I’ll say is we are around the same age and he was a very nice guy.”
Boyle became a global sensation when she sang I Dreamed a Dream from the musical Les Miserables on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009.
