“No,” was her response.
“I think, you know what, God bless her heart. I think she’s great,” she told Women’s Wear Daily. “But, I don’t know, to me, she didn’t fit. I don’t know if I should say that.”
Soon after that, as a result of these statements she made about Swift, rumors surfaced that the Australian model had been fired by the lingerie company.
“There is no truth to the rumors that Jessica Hart has been fired or that she will no longer work with the brand. As you will see, she was a great part of our show and we look forward to continuing to work with her,” chief marketing officer Edward Razek told Us Weekly at the time.
Anyway, Swift took the stage at the Victoria’s Secret Show again this year for a great performance, but a notable absence was that of Victoria’s Secret Angel Jessica Hart.
And according to a New York Daily News insider: “It’s not been announced that Jessica is not walking, but it was a direct request from Taylor that this be the case if she were to go.”
“No one can know that Taylor requested Ms. Hart not be in the show. They want to keep that under wraps, but that’s the facts,” the insider added.
Prior to the show the Australian beauty expressed her support for her colleagues.
“Throwback to this time last year.. Good luck to all the girlies tonight! Can’t wait to see all your amazing outfits @victoriassecret @vspink have so much fun .. Love you ALL ! #vsfashionshow2014 ??” Hart wrote with a picture from last Victoria’s Secret Show.
