Monica Bellucci and Léa Seydoux are the new Bond girls

Oscar winner Christoph Waltz is set to join the cast as Oberhauser, while Bond girls Belluci and Seydoux, who starred in “Blue Is the Warmest Color,” will take on the roles of as Lucia Sciarra and Madeleine Swann, respectively.

The cast will also include Dave Bautista, Andrew Scott, Rory Kinnear, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes and Ben Whishaw.

The logline for the movie is: “A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.”

Last year, it was rumored that Penelope Cruz is set to be the new Bond girl in the 24th feature film.

Recently, Stephen Hawking revealed to Wired that he would like to star in a James Bond film as villain.

“My ideal role would be a baddie in a James Bond film,” he told the publication. “I think the wheelchair and the computer voice would fit the part.”

The 24th 007 movie, which will be directed by Sam Mendes, will be released on Nov. 6 in the U.S., and on Oct. 23 in the U.K., in 2015.
