iPhone 6 probe in drop test from space – video

On 28 November 2014, an iPhone 6 was launched into the stratosphere at more than 101,000 feet high.

The trip was documented by two GoPro cameras and a GPS locator.

The device was turned on at launch, the temperatures of -79 degrees Fahrenheit and the 70 mile per hour winds froze it and killed its batter.

However, after being recovered after a parachute landing, it was turned back on and used without any problem.
