According to Korea Herald [via GforGames], Samsung’s head of IR, Rober Yi announced that the manufacturer will launch an “innovative premium handset” in 2015, featuring a “special function”.
In addition, ZDNet Korea cites Samsung Mobile vice president Park Jin Young as stating that the smartphone will be launched on the scheduled date.
Recent rumors have claimed that Samsung had to postpone the announcement of the device due to problems with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and the limited amount of metal frames.
However, the report argues that the manufacturer has overcome these issues.
Samsung has been rumored to be dropping the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor for the Galaxy S6.
