Samsung Galaxy S6 release announced by press invites

Leading up to Mobile World Congress event, the South Korean manufacturer has started sending invitations to the media for an Unpacked Event on March 1 in Barcelona.

The invites feature a mysterious metal curve, seemingly hinting at a curved design, and the message “What’s Next,” on a black background.

Recent rumors have suggested that the company could launch two versions of the Galaxy S6, a standard one and another with a curved edge screen similar to the Galaxy Note Edge.

Rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S6 announced a 5-inch QHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, an Exynos 7420 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 20 megapixel sensor.

Samsung’s head of IR, Rober Yi recently announced that the company will launch an “innovative premium handset” this year, with a “special function”.

We’ll have to wait until March 1 to see which of these rumors are correct.
