iPhone 6s rumors: Apple Watch’s 3D tech on next iPhone

Apple

Taiwanese publication Economic Daily News reports that the iPhone 6S might be equipped with a new display technology called 3D Touch.

The technology is able to distinguish between lightweight and stronger pressures so that different functions are triggered.

The reports source said that the technology for the display of the iPhone 6s is to be developed by US company Avago Tech and delivered to Apple.

This 3D Touch is somewhat reminiscent of the Force Touch tech found on the Apple Watch which comes with a pressure sensor.

Until September when the iPhone is likely to be announced the rumor mill will continue to churn.
