According to Mac4Ever, Cupertino is building a high-end department store at the first floor of the highly exclusive Galleries Lafayette on Champs Elysees in Paris.
In photos posted by the site a white tarp can be seen under which the work is performed.
Although there is no official information, it appears that work on the construction of the stand began at the beginning of the month.
Apple Retail Senior Vice President Angela Ahrendts has been overseeing the project.
Apple could repeat the experiment in other major shopping centers around the world.
