Bobbi Kristina Brown’s breathing tube removed, Whitney Houston’s daughter’s condition has not changed

According to CNN, doctors have undergone a tracheotomy on Whitney Houston’s daughter in order for her to be ventilated.

“This is an indication that the patient will need this for weeks and months to come, as opposed to hours and days,” Dr. Sanjay Gupta, CNN’s correspondent, said.

Removing the breathing tube is a standard procedure necessary to avoid infection, chief medical Gupta added.

A family source declared on Thursday that Brown’s general condition is unchanged, Reuters reports.

Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious in the bathroom at her home in Roswell, Georgia, on January 31, by her partner, Nick Gordon, and a friend.
