Eddie Redmayne wins Best Actor at the Oscars 2015

In the category for Best Actor favorites include actor Michael Keaton for “Birdman,” where he stars as a former superhero movie actor, but also Eddie Redmayne, who gave a wonderful performance in “The Theory of Everything,” which chronicles the life of physicist Stephen Hawking.

Steve Carell took on a darker role in “Foxcatcher” where he interprets John Du Pont, a millionaire suffering from a form of schizophrenia who kills a wrestling gold champion.

Bradley Cooper scored an Academy Award nomination for the third year in a row. In “American Sniper,” Cooper plays the role of Chris Kyle, the most effective sniper in US military history.

In “The Imitation Game”, Benedict Cumberbatch is Alan Turing, a brilliant British mathematician who manages to crack the Enigma code used by the Nazis in World War Two.
