According to a report by AppleInsider, the next iPhone could have 2GB of RAM, just like the iPad Air 2.
The publishers claim to have spoken with a source who “has provided reliable information in the past.”
More RAM means better multitasking and a longer battery life.
The insider also reported that Apple plans to offer the next iPhone with a pre-installed SIM.
This move debuted with the iPad Air 2 and it allows users to choose their own carrier and switch their provider directly from the iOS device.
It is also rumored that Apple will use the new Force Touch technology for the device’s screen.
