During a candid interview with Howard Stern’s SiriusXM radio show on Wednesday, Madonna made some revelations about her personal life.
The years-old rumor that she had been in a relationship with Shakur had never been confirmed, until now.
“I was mad at [David Letterman] when I said the F-word a lot. I was in a weird mood that day. I was dating Tupac Shakur at the time and the thing is he got me all riled up on life in general. So when I went on the show I was feeling very gangsta,” she said.
The episode she is talking about is a 1994 interview on The Late Show With David Letterman.
The Material Girl did not stop here with the sharing. Madonna, who dated Warren Beatty in the early ‘90s, had nothing but words of praise for the famous actor.
“Yes, he was [an incredible lover]. I’m not going to lie,” she said.
And although Beatty dated Brigitte Bardot, Natalie Wood, Lana Wood and other beautiful women, the 56-year-old entertainer said,”I have confidence in my skills.”
The actor was also the source of inspiration for Madonna’s 1990 “Vogue.”
The Queen of Pop also opened up about the King of Pop, saying: “I could certainly relate to him on many levels, but he was also a very shy person,” she said.
“He was famous since he was a child and didn’t really have a childhood. He was painfully shy,” she continued.
“We didn’t really have a relationship about me revealing myself to him, but making fun of the crazy world we were living and working in. We didn’t talk about our childhoods…I think he felt eternally tortured. It was hard for him to look into people’s eyes,” the singer added.
