A mag claimed last week that the singer, 26, was advised by doctors to slow down on performing because she suffers from Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, which causes a fast, and irregular heartbeat, as well as shortness of breath.
The British singer has cancelled her Australian tour on health grounds.
“Due to sudden illness I have unfortunately been medically advised to cancel my three remaining shows in Australia, so I can give myself time to rest and get better,” Jessie J said in a statement. “I am extremely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause my fans in Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide. If I could magic myself better and be there I would. I can’t wait to perform for you all in the future. Thank you for your support. Jessica x”
The “Bang Bang” singer took to Instagram to dismiss those rumors, and to renew the information about her health.
“I am ok | I’m feeling better | I was really unwell | I have slept a lot | I have watched every series of Homeland in bed | I’m addicted to tim tams,” she wrote Friday. “I still have a heart problem | Dun dun dun | Papers acting like I didn’t know lol | Had it since I was born | But my heart is ok | My body is healing | I don’t have to mime to hit my high notes on stage | Who believed it?
