Lena Headey, 41, has spoken in a recent interview with More magazine, April edition, about the difficult times she went through when ending her marriage with husband Peter Loughran.

Headey, who has a son Wylie, 5, with her former husband, filed for divorce in 2012, and the actress explained the agony of divorce, but she agrees to the quote by Nietzsche.

“It’s tough,” she says. “There’s a lot of hurt and sadness and disappointment. Grief. Massive grief. It’s a mourning process, and yet nobody’s died.”

The HBO star also opened up about the fact she was faced with depression.

“I haven’t had a spell in a long time. I think some people’s brains are just wired that way if you’re a thinker,” the actress says.

“People who never get anxious always amaze me. The world could be breaking up and they’re saying, ‘Everything’s fine!’ Getting older and having kids, you learn how to become less serious about it all,” she added.

The Game of Thrones star revealed recently that she is pregnant with her second baby, but she did not disclose the identity of the father because she likes to keep her “personal life private.”
