Earlier this week, Digitimes reported that Apple will launch three iPhones this year.
On Wednesday, the site published a second report revealing that TSMC is set to take care of the production of chips for iPhone 6s and 6c.
TSMC will be assigned the production of the 20nm chips for the iPhone 6c and 16nm for iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.
The device is said to have a screen with a diagonal of 4 inches, the A8 processor and the fingerprint sensor Touch ID.
The report adds that the price would be between $400 and $500 and it will be aimed at emerging markets.
Taiwanese sources cited by Digitimes evoke the name of Wistron as manufacturer of the iPhone 6c.
