Lady Antebellum’s tour bus caught fire on a Texas freeway

Hillary Scott shared the news about the incident on her Instagram account, adding that no one was hurt.

“Hey guys, we had a crazy morning on the way to Dallas today. Our bus tire caught on fire and we had to evacuate very quickly,” she wrote along with a picture of the charred remains after the incident. “EVERYONE IS SAFE AND SOUND. It was me, my husband, our tour manager, and driver. Thanking God for our safety and the safety of all of those who helped put this fire out and keep us safe. Love you all!!!!”

Scott published on her social accounts a series of posts in which she revealed that she was in that bus with her husband and group manager when one of the wheels of the vehicle exploded. The driver stopped immediately before the bus burst into flames.

The singer, 29, added that the only thing that was not destroyed in the fire was her Bible.

“I just got this picture from the scene of the fire and HAD to share this. Today, when our bus caught on fire we had quite a few personal belongings in the back (where I was asleep before evacuating the bus) one of them being my Bible.” she wrote. “I kid you not, EVERYTHING in the back lounge was destroyed from the flames, except my Bible. The outside cover was burned and messed up but NOT ONE PAGE.”
