Kate Middleton’s hometown expects her to have a daughter

Until the birth of the royal baby, and an official announcement about the gender, nothing is for sure.

But that does not mean that bookmakers are not in a fever to predict the gender of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s baby, with bets placed even on names.

People in the UK and around the world are excited about the birth of the second royal child, and locals from Kate Middleton’s hometown of Bucklebury, Berkshire, predict that she will give birth to a daughter.

“There’s absolutely an atmosphere in the village about the birth,” a local told Us Weekly. “People are so excited. Everybody in the village is convinced it will be a girl for her.”

Princess Kate’s due date is this month, and rumors circulated that the royal baby will arrive on Wednesday (April 22) or Thursday (April 23). As April 22 has passed, there would still be a chance today, or any day from now.
