Robert Downey Jr. leaves during interview after questions about his ‘dark periods’

“Are we promoting a movie?” the actor, 50, told interviewer Krishnan Guru-Murthy when asked about a subject from his past.

“I’m not going to backpedal on anything I’ve said,” he added.

Then, the reporter went ahead with the personal questions and the actor’s reaction was to stand up after saying, “I’m sorry, I, I really don’t — what are we doing? Bye.”

“I’m sorry, it’s just getting a little Diane Sawyer in here,” he added and then left the room.
