The Prince, 30, got a surprise at the Sydney Opera House on Thursday when Victoria McRea, 21, from a group of royal fans asked him to marring her with a banner that read, “Marry me, Last chance! Prince Harry.”
“I just said, this is the third time I’ve proposed,” she told journalists. “Put a girl out of her misery. And then he said, could he think about it, and I said, ‘Oh, well, I’ll be happy with just a kiss.’ And so, he let me kiss him on the cheek but then I, I went in for it. And the rest is history!”
Harry also talked about the latest addition to the family, his “beautiful” niece, Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.
“I have been given a hell of a lot of cuddly toys from this morning and other things,” he said. “I’m looking forward to meeting her. She’s beautiful.”
The Prince also said in a statement on Sunday, May 3, posted on Kensington Palace’s Twitter page, that his niece is “absolutely beautiful.”
