Betting on the Princess’ name has ended, but now bookmakers are placing their money on who Kate and William will choose as the six godparents for their daughter.
Princess Beatrice, Prince William’s cousin, would be the first choice, next is her sister Eugenie, then Peter Phillips, Princess Anne’s son, followed by Hugh van Cutsem, the Duke’s friend.
William and Kate may also choose from among their siblings, Prince Harry, or Pippa and James Middleton.
Prince George’s seven godparents are William van Cutsem, Prince William’s friend, Zara Tindall, the Duke of Cambridge’s cousin, Oliver Baker, Kate and William’s friend, Emilia Jardine-Paterson, a friend of the royal couple, Earl “Hugh” Grosvenor, the son of the Duchess of Westminster, one of William’s godparents, Julia Samuel, Princess Diana’s friend, and Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, Kate and William’s principal private secretary.
