Royal baby: Kate Middleton and Prince William won’t stop at two children, friend says

And according to a friend cited by People, the royal couple is thinking of expanding their family in the future.

“They’ve been looking forward to having a family,” the friend told People. “They enjoy family life and seeing it among their friends’ families – that’s why I think they will have a third.”

Back in April, when the gender of the royal baby was unknown and rumors claimed that the Duchess would give birth to a girl, Kate Middleton’s uncle Gary Goldsmith said that he believed the royal couple were keen on having more than two children.

“I don’t think they’ll stop at two, so if it isn’t a girl this time round, people shouldn’t be too disappointed,” he told HELLO! magazine.

“I’m sure there’ll be a girl in the mix at some point. As long as the baby is healthy, that is the important thing.”

Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, came into the world on May 2.
