The former rugby star recently talked to HELLO! magazine about the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s baby girl, and his and Zara’s daughter, Mia Grace Tindall, who came into the world on 17 January 2014.
“It’s brilliant that Kate and William now have a little girl as well as a boy,” he told the mag. “We’re thrilled for them. I congratulated William in a text message, saying, ‘Fantastic news. So happy for you.’”
“They’re all quite close in age and hopefully they’ll grow up as good friends,” Tindall said, referring to the small age difference between his daughter and Kate and William’s children.
Tindall, who tied the knot with Zara in 2011, also spoke about his daily program and how he spends time with his family.
“I wake up at 6 am, go to the gym, return for when Mia wakes up at 8 am – we’re lucky that she sleeps so well – and then the three of us will have breakfast,” he said.
Zara and Mike Tindall are obviously planning to visit the royal family of four, but they want to give them time “to settle into their new life at Anmer Hall.”
