And now the famous photographer has been chosen to take the official photos of Princess Charlotte’s christening.

“I am overwhelmed and honoured to be chosen to document this occasion and to carry on the documentation of the family that is the soul of this country, a country that has given me so much,” he said in a statement.

Yesterday, June 29, Testino took to Twitter and shared a royal photo, with the caption, “MY PICTURE OF PRINCES WILLIAM AND HARRY WITH THEIR FATHER THE PRINCE OF WALES. #FATHERANDSONDAY @KensingtonRoyal ”

The baptism of the Duchess of Cambridge’s and Prince William’s baby girl will take place on Saturday, July 5, at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Norfolk, the same church where her late grandmother Princess Diana was christened.

Has Prince Harry arrived in southern Africa? The royal set to spend three months there for conservation projects

The prince, 30, is already in Africa where he arrived last week, as he is set to begin three months of activity in Namibia.

Harry is set to work during these three months in Namibia, Tanzania, Botswana and South Africa.

Back in May, during his tour in New Zealand, the royal spoke with journalists about his work in Africa.

“So to actually get the chance to go to Africa, embed myself with the number one top vet in southern Africa, travel with him for three weeks and every job he gets called up to do, I follow him. That’s like my dream. It’s going to be amazing, whether it’s darting a lion or going into a community to see how they are changing the way they are working, and for the local culture to accept that an elephant means more to them money-wise alive than shooting it,” Harry said.

Vanity Fair reported this month that the royal bachelor is planning to meet his ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy during his royal engagements in Africa.

Prince Harry won’t be able to attend his niece Princess Charlotte’s baptism because on July 5 when the christening is set to take place he will be in Africa.

Princess Charlotte of Cambridge’s christening: Kate and William’s daughter likely to wear brother Prince George’s baptism gown

HRH Duchess of Cambridge

Prince George of Cambridge was dressed up at his baptism in a christening lace gown created by Queen Elizabeth II’s designer Angela Kelly in 2008, as the original dress was too fragile to be worn.

The original christening lace gown was worn in 1841 by Queen Victoria’s eldest child, daughter Victoria, Princess Royal.

The dress was also worn by George’s father Prince William, uncle Prince Harry, grandfather Charles, Prince of Wales, great grandmother Queen Elizabeth II and others.

The third in line to the throne was christened at St. James’s Palace by the Archbishop of Canterbury on October 23, 2013.

Yesterday, June 29, the Palace released a statament through which warm-wishers were invited to take part in this historic moment – Princess Charlotte of Cambridge’s christening.

The godparents are yet to be announced by the Kensington Palace.

Nicole Scherzinger receives birthday wishes from former boyfriend Lewis Hamilton: ‘I’m thankful for the time we had’

Instagram

Hamilton and Scherzinger were in a relationship for seven years until February this year when they decided to go separate ways.

“Dear friend, through the years we shared a lot, I wouldn’t have changed a thing. All the experiences made me the man I’m proud to be now,” the British Formula One driver wrote. “The memories together will never be taken away no matter how old we get and I’m thankful for the time we had. I’m wishing you the Happiest of Birthdays, and may God continue to bless you in all that you do. #waayyupstayblessed”

The former couple began their on-again, off-again relationship in 2007, and after their split, Scherzinger opened up about what helped her to get over that moment.

“For me, what’s helped me to get through this is I’m a quite spiritual person,” the former Pussycat Doll singer told People magazine back in May. “It’s grounded me, and I realize that I do have a great purpose in life. If relationships or people in your lives are meant to be, then they will come back around, but that shouldn’t be what’s holding you back.”

Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger split up several times during their relationship and it was reported that a reason for their separation was distance. The singer was “heartbroken and devastated” after the breakup.

On Monday, June 29, the Kensington Palace released a statament that read, “The Duke and Duchess are hugely grateful for the warm wishes they have received since Princess Charlotte’s birth – many of them from local people in Norfolk – and are delighted the paddock can be opened on the day of the christening.”

Kate and William’s daughter will be baptized by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby.

The Daily Mail has come up with a few details about the upcoming event, including the guests, the favorites for the role of godparents and the absence of an important royal member due to conservation projects.

The publication wrote that besides the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, Prince William, and their children Princess Charlotte and Prince George, guests at the ceremony will include Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh; Charles, Prince of Wales and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

Michael and Carole Middleton and their children Pippa and James will be present at the event.

Lately it has been reported that Charlotte’s uncle, Prince Harry, won’t be able to attend the baptism. The publication wrote that the prince, 30, who was among the favorites as godfather, will be on a three-month trip to southern Africa at the time, for conservation projects.

The report added that the favorites as a godparents include the Duchess of Cambridge’s best friend Alicia Fox-Pitt, the Duke of Cambridge’s cousin Peter Phillips and Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton.

In addition, it has been reported that other favorites for this title are Prince William’s cousins Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie or the Duke’s friend, Hugh van Cutsem.

The Royal Mint reported recently that in order to celebrate Princess Charlotte of Cambridge’s christening a series of new coins are set to be created to mark this important event.

When the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, gave birth to her daughter Princess Charlotte of Cambridge on May 2, the Royal Mint released a limited edition of £5 coins in order to mark her arrival.

The coin, that is set to be issued on the occasion of Charlotte’s baptism, will be made from two metals: gold and silver.

The design of the new coins will be authorized by Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, Queen Elizabeth II and the Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne, The Royal Mint reports.

After the approval, the new coins will arrive on the market in the next couple of weeks.

Prince George’s christening was also marked with the creation of three commemorative coins by the Royal Mint. It was for the first time that the baptism of a member of the Royal Family was celebrated by the marking of new coins.

Princess Charlotte of Cambridge will be christened on 5 July at St Mary Magdalene Church in Norfolk.

Kate Middleton and Prince William reportedly hosted Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt for tea at Kensington Palace

According to Us Weekly, the couples “discussed their shared interest in combatting the illegal wildlife trade.”

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge received a gift from Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in honor of the birth of their daughter Princess Charlotte, who will be 2 months old on July 2.

It was the first meeting for the two couples.

Kate Middleton and Prince William’s daughter’s christening: everything you need to know

HRH Duchess of Cambridge

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s baby girl, nearly 2 months old on July 2, will be baptized at St. Mary Magdalene’s Church on Sunday, July 5.

Charlotte’s godparents haven’t been revealed yet, but they will most likely be announced when the date of the baptism is near.

William and Kate’s daughter’s odds-on favorite godparents are the Duke of Cambridge’s cousins Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice. Peter Phillips, Zara Tindall’s brother and Prince William’s cousin, is among the favorites. (Zara is Prince George’s godmother.)

The royal couple’s siblings, Prince Harry, Pippa and James Middleton, might be on the list as future godparents. The Duke of Cambridge’s friend, Hugh van Cutsem, who is already godfather to his son, could be chosen again.

Princess Charlotte’s brother, Prince George of Cambridge, who will turn 2 on July 22, was christened back in 2013 at the Chapel Royal at St. James’s Palace on October 23.

Back then, Kate and William chose seven godparents for their son, most of whom were former classmates and good friends of the royal parents.

Besides Zara Tindall and Hugh van Cutsem, others godparents for little George included Princess Diana’s friend, Julia Samuel; Emilia Jardine-Paterson, a friend of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge; Oliver Baker, also a friend of the royal couple; Earl “Hugh” Grosvenor, the son one of the Duke’s own godparents; and William and Kate’s principal private secretary, Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton.

Prince Harry may not be able to be present at his niece’s baptism due his royal engagements, as he will likely be in southern Africa at the time for conservation projects.

Kensington Palace is expected to announce Charlotte’s godparents on Twitter close to the date when the baptism will take place.
