Prince Charles also said that he was “absolutely delighted” about Charlotte’s arrival.

And when his first grandchild, Prince George, came into the world, the Prince of Wales was “so thrilled,” and said it was “fun to be a grandfather.”

Indeed, Prince Charles is one proud royal grandpa and it seems he can now count on his grandchildren’s help. Well, for the moment it’s only his grandson, who will turn 2 on July 22, his granddaughter is too little to help as she is only almost 2 months old.

According to HELLO! magazine, the little prince helped his grandfather to plant two trees at Prince Charles’ house, Highgrove House, in Gloucestershire.

An onlooker told the magazine that Prince Charles was evidently “very proud” of him.

The royal family, William, Kate and their children, recently spent time at Charles and wife Camilla’s residence.

A major event, where the entire royal family was present, was Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday parade this month. On this occasion, Prince George made his first appearance at the Buckingham Palace balcony.

The next important event will be on July 5, when Princess Charlotte will be christened.
