Kate Middleton will donate flowers brought by royal fans at Princess Charlotte’s christening to hospice charity

The royal couple invited the warm-wishers to be a part of this special day – their daughter’s christening.

Princess Charlotte of Cambridge will be baptized on Sunday, July 5, at St Mary Magdalene Church, in the same place where Prince William’s late mother Princess Diana was christened in 1961.

EACH Chief Executive Graham Butland expressed his gratitude for the Duchess’ beautiful gesture.

“We are very honored the flowers . . . are being donated to EACH,” Butland said in a statement. “Her Royal Highness has shown great dedication to the role of Royal Patron, raising awareness and understanding of our services and we’re incredibly grateful for all the support the charity has received.”

The Duchess, who has been the Royal Patron of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices since January 2012, wrote an emotional letter to “families of children with life-limiting conditions” in May.
