Prince William and Kate Middleton’s daughter’s godparents revealed!

HRH Duchess of Cambridge

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen five godparents for their little princess, 2-month-old.

Pippa Middleton is not listed among those announced, nor are William’s cousins Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, as they were odds-on favorite as godparents.

Prince Harry won’t be present at the ceremony due to his conservation projects in southern Africa.

Today the Kensington Palace posted “information about the guests and Godparents of Princess Charlotte’s Christening” on Twitter.

So, Kate Middleton and Prince William have honored five family and friends to be their second child’s godparents: Adam Middleton, the Duchess’ cousin; Laura Jane Fellowes, William’s cousin and the daughter of Princess Diana’s sister; Sophie Carter, Kate’s friend; Thomas van Straubenzee, the Duke’s childhood friend, and James Meade, his school friend.

Princess Charlotte of Cambridge is set to be baptized today, Sunday, July 5, at St. Mary Magdalene church in Sandringham.
