In May, the Duchess of Cambridge’s mother wrote about throwing “outdoor parties” using wit, creativity and keeping it simple. Now she gives tips about throwing “Disney parties.”
For a great party theme, Mrs Middleton suggested “global icons” Mickey and Minnie Mouse and offered the secret to a great Disney celebration.
“Start by sending out Disney invitations, in the post or online, to give guests a taster of what’s to come. And for the big day itself choose a colour scheme based on either Mickey or Minnie, with gorgeous decorations to set the scene,“ Kate’s mother wrote.
“Make sure you have some activities planned – anything from traditional party games to Mickey cookie decorating – to keep everyone busy, and a centrepiece cake to fit the theme is always a nice touch,“ she added.
