Recently, the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, and Prince William, known for their passion for tennis, enjoyed the Wimbledon quarter-finals from the Royal Box.
Now, the royal couple is proving that they’re also keen on sailing. William and Kate will attend America’s Cup World Series in Portsmouth and they are set to offer the medals to the winning teams at Waterfront Festival Arena.
Kensington Palace announced the event, which will take place on Sunday, July 26, on Twitter.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – Royal Patron of @1851Trust will support @acwspmth in Portsmouth on 26 July.”

Six international sailing teams, including one from the UK, will take part in two races, the Palace said.
Kate is reportedly passionate about sailing, and last year she won a yacht race against her husband during their Royal tour of New Zealand.
