Kate Middleton’s brother, 28, and the TV presenter, 36, have denied speculations that they went separated ways through a joint statement.
“Mark Twain once complained that reports of his death were exaggerated,” the couple said. “A few days ago we were equally amazed to read the obituaries of our relationship splashed across the national press.”
“Happily, we can report that our relationship is not over. We are still very much a couple and have not parted ways,” the statement continued.
“These stories are completely untrue and without merit.”
This week, The Sun reported that the Duchess Catherine of Cambridge’s brother took the decision to end his relationship with Air.
Around the same time split rumors began circulating, the model shared a quote on her Instagram account that read, “Accept what is, let go of what was, have faith in what will be (even those itchy ears).”
The former Big Breakfast host, who has a daughter, Freya, 11, from her previous relationship with Damian Aspinall, also opened up in an interview about her romance with Middleton.
“James brings a lot of fun into the household,” she said.
Air posted some photos of herself and Middleton on her Instagram account.
The pair first met two and a half years ago at the exclusive private members’ club No 5 Hertford in Mayfair, London.
