Kate Middleton and Prince William attended the Festival of Remembrance

Kate Middleton, who was dressed up in a black dress, and Prince William stepped out at Royal Albert Hall in London on Saturday, November 7, at the Festival of Remembrance, wearing red poppy pins. They were seated next to Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

The charity gathers donations for former members of the armed services.

Pictures from the annual event hosted by Royal British Legion were shared on the Kensington Palace official Twitter account.

Singers Andrea Bocelli, Rod Stewart, Pixie Lott and Gregory Porter were among the guests attending the event.

For the royal couple, both 33, it was the first participation at the annual Festival of Remembrance.

The Queen, 89, and others members of the Royal Family laid wreaths in memory of the fallen.
