Prince William, 33, granted an interview to The Big Issue magazine, in which he opened up about the holidays, revealing that his son is set to be very excited about Christmas, especially since the little prince figured out what it is about.

“George will be bouncing around like a rabbit,” the Duke told the magazine. “I think he will be extremely bouncy this year because he’s suddenly worked out what Christmas is all about. If I get any sleep on Christmas Eve it’ll be good.”

William, who became a father for the second time in May after he and Kate welcomed baby Charlotte, has expressed his eagerness to celebrate this holiday as a bigger family.

“So that will be two children, one who suddenly appreciates Christmas, which could be quite challenging. But I’m looking forward to it.”

The royal, who settled down with his family at their country home, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk, shortly after the birth of their daughter, offered an insight into how they will be spending Christmas Day.

“We’ll go to church as a family on Christmas Day, as we always do. Then we’ll watch George try to tackle his presents as he tries to unwrap them,” the Duke said. “It’s a very different experience at Christmas, having a family of your own.”

Last month, Duchess Kate talked about her son’s enthusiasm about the upcoming Christmas holiday during her visit in North Wales, and said that George “will be starting to talk about Christmas soon.”
