Prince William sends very special Christmas message to South Pole explorer Henry Worsley

If the former Army officer’s dream becomes reality, he will be the first solo explorer to cross the Antarctic without any assistance or support.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s husband, 33, sent a special Christmas message to Henry ,55, on the satellite phone, in which the Duke, who is the patron of Worsley’s expedition, is wishing him good luck on his journey.

“You’re doing a cracking job and everyone back here is very proud,” Prince William told the bold explorator.

Through this initiative, Worsley wants to honor Sir Ernest Henry Shackleton, who attempted to do the same in 1915

Henry Worsley is planning to finish his expedition by New Year.
