Kate Middleton and Prince William set to visit India and Bhutan in April

Kensington Palace announced on Friday, February 26, that the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, and her husband Prince William are scheduled to visit Bhutan and India between April 10 and 16.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s parents are going to tour India and will visit New Delhi and Mumbai. The Duke and Duchess will see the Taj Mahal, where Princess Diana also made a trip in 1992.

The British royals will then head to Thimphu in Bhutan, where they are set to met King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and his wife Queen Jetsun Pema, popularly known as the “William and Kate of the Himalayas.”

King Jigme and Queen Jetsun of Bhutan became parents of a baby boy, His Royal Highness The Gyalsey, on February 5.

Princess Charlotte, 9 months, and Prince George, 2, won’t be joining their parents on the South Asian tour. In 2014, the little prince went to Australia and New Zealand with his parents for their official tour.
