Liam Hemsworth denies rumors of engagement to ex-fiancée Miley Cyrus

The 26-year-old actor and the Wrecking Ball singer have been spotted spending time together lately.

The two were photographed together this month at the premiere of The Huntsman: Winter’s War.

In January, the pair was seen hanging out with Liam’s brothers and their wives at the Falls Music Festival in Byron Bay, Australia.

Miley, 23, also sparked engagement rumors after sharing an Instagram photo of herself sporting a diamond ring on her left hand in January.

And despite speculation of a re-engagement, Hemsworth clarified this aspect in an interview with Australia’s TV Week.

“I am not engaged, no,” the actor told the magazine.

Last year, Hemsworth opened up in an interview with Men’s Fitness about his feelings for his ex-fiancée.

“I mean, look—we were together five years, so I don’t think those feelings will ever change. And that’s good because that proves to me that it was real. It wasn’t just a fling. It really was an important part of my life and always will be. She’s a free spirit. I think she’ll always surprise people with what she does, but she’s not a malicious person in any way. She’s a young girl who wants to do what she wants to do,” the actor said.

Liam proposed to Cyrus in May 2012 with a 3.5-carat Neil Lane diamond ring. They ended their engagement in September 2013.
